Madeline Best began dancing at age three and is now in her eighth season at Drishti Dance & Fitness. She enjoys many styles of dance including ballet, pointe, contemporary, tap, jazz, lyrical, character, and modern.      

       Since joining the Drishti family, Maddie has performed as a member of the competition team and has earned top-ten medals for her roles in “I Love Me” (tap solo), “Les Yeux Noir” (point duet), “Joshua Fit The Battle of Jericho” (tap trio), and “42^nd Street” (tap solo). 

         She has attended four summer intensives with the American Midwest Ballet Company where she has trained with professional company dancers and completed ten, week-long master classes led by renowned artists such Jovani Furlan (NYC Ballet), Dylis Croman (Broadway Jazz Artist), Mark Gieringer (Ballet Hispanico), and Kristopher Estes-Brown (Choreographer, National Choreographer’s Initiative). 

          In addition to more than fifteen recitals, her favorite stage performances include The Nutcracker with the American Midwest Ballet Company, excerpts from the classical ballets Swan Lake and Giselle, and Alice in Wonderland in “Go Get Alice.” During Drishti’s 2023-2024 season, Maddie began as an assistant instructor and quickly came to love working with young ballerinas as they learn the beautiful art of dance.
